Mission

My Community: Capacity, Community and Change We work with partners around the world to produce Entertainment-Education (E-E) programs rooted in our three-pronged My Community approach to communications for social change. Using a combination of serial dramas, talk shows and community mobilization, we: Strengthen the capacity of our local partners to effectively use communications to catalyze change; Create a community of constituents who support our collaborative work; and Promote positive changes in audience knowledge, attitudes and behaviors around target issues. As a result we are promoting a new generation of change-leaders using communications to effectively turn up the volume on their important work.

Since 2018, PCI Media's Let's Talk campaign has helped reduce unintended pregnancy in 21 countries across Southern and Eastern Africa through classroom and public dialogue that educates young people about sexual and reproductive choices. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has halted these in-person programs. With your support, we can pivot Let's Talk to reach girls and boys through social media, radio dramas and call-in shows that would create a safe space at home for girls and young women.

Our COVID-19 response educates about contact tracing and vaccination, impacts on women and girls, food security, and more. Your support helps us create more media for change.
